The Routine

Apply: Using a dime sized amount comb directly onto roots where hair is graying and massage into the scalp. For more control, apply onto your fingertips and massage into your scalp. On wet hair, apply and then style as usual. On dry hair, allow 5 minutes to dry. Note: a tube lasts about 6-8 weeks

When: Apply once daily, morning or evening, consistently for 3 months to see results.

Golden Tip: Don’t forget to lock it! The Root Changer has a locking mechanism to prevent leakage. Before using, twist the top 90° until it clicks into place. When done, twist it back to the locked position

Note: This formula is designed to deliver targeted results at the scalp. Using too much or applying it throughout your hair can sometimes leave a sticky or filmy feeling. For best results, use a small amount, directly on the scalp area. Try squeezing it into your hands first, then gently massage into the areas that need it most. Applying to damp or towel-dried hair may also help reduce any stickiness.

    I was very excited to try the root changer. The positives were that it did cover some gray . It made my hair super healthy, shiny with great body and volume. It was easy to apply and not as messy as hair color. The scent was mild (also compared to hair color). It almost seems like a vitamin for hair.

    The negatives were that the gray in my hair seemed to come back in a few just days. I may have needed to apply it before the gray started. It is very costly compared to products that color is used to touch up the roots and there is not very much in the tube. It lasted me about 2 weeks max. I may give it a try one more time

    I dislike this product. Its gloppy, needs to be washed out of hair. Didnʻt work. Was chsrged twice but only sent one bottle.

We’re actually reformulating it now and will be relaunching an improved formula soon!

    no change…..

    Purchased 2 tubes . Have a lot of gray hair but used it on the crown, temples. Yes, the product has to go directly on the scalp -any residue on the hair leaves it sticky and ‘wet’ in my case -have to wash that part again. Not so good and not as described but everyone is different.

    1 tube lasted me 2 weeks.

    I have no idea where the notion comes from (on the website!)that 1 tube can last for 6-8 weeks??

    It contains only 50cc !!!!! If you have about 20 grays -sure.

    The price for both tubes was $114 . Absolutely not sustainable. Way too expensive.

    I am very grateful that some folks look into this research and develop these products - but it has to make financial sense .

    So, sadly, will not buy again.

    I Wasn’t Ready to Dye My Hair, Then I Found This

    I’ve genuinely been so impressed with the All Golden Root Changer. I can see a bit more gray starting to come in, enough that I wanted to address it, but not enough that I was ready to fully dye my hair. This has been such an easy way to feel like I’m getting ahead of it.

    It’s super lightweight, simple to apply directly at the roots, and doesn’t leave my hair feeling sticky, greasy, or weighed down. I was worried about buildup, especially with daily use, but I barely notice it’s there. It has made dealing with my grays feel much easier and far less overwhelming.
